I wouldn't normally be writing about the trails in Feb, but they are so nice right now and giving the amazing weather we are supposed to have in the near future the weekend is setting up for some of the best winter riding around here ever.  My new big wheel is kicking it (has some nagging vibration in the rear brake, but it should hopefully be fixed this afternoon).  I'm set to make it four days of riding in a row.  Anyone in town let me know...lets ride.

I can't remember exactly where I went, I will check with Walker in the morning.  Going from sea-level to 13,000 feet in 2 days can be a bit harsh on the old body.  We topped out on some lower benches to drop into and got some surprisingly good powder (hidden stashes still live this high up).  We had to tour a long way to get there.  Unfortunately it was met by extreme hunger and leg cramps on the way home.  I was able to snap a couple photos before we dropped in for some turns:
